Carpet & Rug Repair

Our IICRC certified carpet repair technicians can stretch, repair seams, replace permanently stained areas, replace pad and reinstall carpet, and make other repairs to your carpet. Repairs are much less expensive than carpet replacement and once our technicians have made the repair, you seldom will be able to determine where the repairs were made. We also work with oriental rug repair specialists who can make repairs to your oriental rugs that will restore their condition and value. We provide a firm estimate for your approval before any repairs are made.    

Maintenance Programs - Commercial

The old saying, “you never get a second chance to make a first impression”, is so true. As a business, your customer forms a quick opinion of your company often based on the condition of your facilities. We provide on-site free estimates for businesses and commercial buildings. We will advise the facility manager as to how to best maintain the carpet, vinyl composite tile, or ceramic or other floor surfaces. Pet Odors & Stains

Our technicians are trained in the best methods and products available to remove pet odors and stains from rugs and carpet. Our rug bath has proven very effective in removing odors and most urine stains from the finest of oriental rugs. We take the time to repeat the cleaning process in our rug plant as many times as necessary and to hand clean the fringe to ensure that your rug is pet-urine and odor free. If you have one simple urine spot or problems that have existed for years, our technicians can provide you with the options available to you to restore your carpet. It may be as simple as a spot treatment or it may be as extensive as complete pad removal and treatment of the subflooring, including reinstalling pad and using a pet treatment on the carpet. We provide the customer with the information necessary to make the decision that is best for their family and furnishings.

Products

We offer our customers our carpet spotter—Peaches ‘n Clean Spot Lifter—that is approved by The Carpet and Rug Institute’s Seal of Approval. It can remove most spots from carpet, rugs, or upholstery. It also serves as a great laundry spotter! Our Montgomery location is located next door to Complete FloorCare Solutions (CFS) and we work closely with them to provide our residential and commercial customers any product that they need to maintain their flooring. We can recommend and CFS offers “green” cleaning agents that can be used in home carpet cleaning equipment or in commercial applications. Stain Protector

Most carpets have some type of stain resistance when they are first installed. However, over time with normal wear this resistance literally “wears away”. Many carpet manufacturers recommend re-application of carpet protectors to restore the carpet’s original stain resistance and preserve the life of the carpet. Carpets that lose the stain resistance not only stain more easily, but the outer fibers of the carpets begin to wear away, leaving your carpet looking dull. We employ a carpet protector that not only protects your carpet against dry soil, water-based stains, and oil-based stains, but also contains a dye blocker helping protect your carpet against substances containing dyes. This product can also be used safely on wool and other natural fibers in higher-end carpets, oriental rugs, and upholstery.

The video below demonstrates the significance of applying protectant on your carpet and upholstery. You will notice on the left side of the carpet when a liquid is spilled it is absorb into the carpet. On the right side, where the protectant has been applied, you will notice that the liquid sits on top of the fibers.
