Peaches 'n Clean's main customer representative, Summer, is going to have a baby boy!  A big congratulations goes out to her and her husband! You have possibly talked to her when you called in for an appointment to have one of your floors or upholstery cleaned. We're excited for her and her husband as they start their brand new family.

VANCOUVER, WA — In a special announcement at the Instructor's Symposium in Vancouver, WA, the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) released its new name: The Clean Trust.  The tagline will be: "Where professionals find training. And consumers find peace of mind."  Paul Pearce, chairman of the board of directors, discussed the reasons for the name change. "Yes, we are re-branding, and, yes, there is a new name," he said to an audience of IICRC-approved instructors and invited guests. Pearce quipped about the many funny translations and mistakes in pronunciation of the IICRC in its shortened version. He said, "With the new name and the new direction and rebranding of the organization, all that should be history."

The process of changing the name began in 2009, and 27 names were considered. Heavy research was used to make sure it resonated with the consumer market. As expected, industry reaction may be mixed, Pearce said. It will take time to digest, and he encouraged all to envision the entire brand expression. As stated in a presentation slide during the announcement: "A name is an important part of the overall brand identity, but not the only piece."

  • Some benefits of the change discussed included:
  • Increased consumer recognition
  • Reflect the organization
  • Provide an updated image
  • Allow for marketing opportunities

      CONGRATULATIONS!

During our last staff meeting our technicians were asked to pick who they thought were the best Crew Chief and Assistant Crew Chief for 2012.  Our winner for Assistant Crew Chief was Ben Ingram. Ben has been with us for about 8 months. We're excited to see where he's headed with our company. We know that he'll be one of our Crew Chiefs very soon.

We actually had two of our Crew Chiefs tie as winners this year. Ethan Byrd, who has been with us for 2 years and Scott Hagemann, who has been with us for about a year and a half.  Both have been chiefing for quite some time and doing a marvelous job. Congrats and thanks to all three winners!

      ANOTHER BIG CONGRATULATIONS!

Another Congratulations goes out to Nate and Brittany Osgood. Nate is one of our Crew Chiefs and has been working with us for a couple of years. They just had a beautiful brand new baby girl this past Wednesday. Her name is Isabel Christine.
